The census was held in April last year. Still, not all data has been published, but much of it is no longer available. I mention these, of interest to the Polish community.

During the census recorded:

– 115 193 persons born in the Polish, and living in Ireland. In this 59 609 males and 55 584 Women,
– most people born in Poland at the age of 25-44 years, as many as 79 125,

– during the previous census population of Ireland powszechengo 63 276 persons born in Poland. In 2011 r. has grown 93,7 percent. the number of people of Polish descent,

– 24 630 people of Polish origin declared, that does not speak good English, a 5 875 said, that does not speak English at all.
